Sustainable Property Management

We manage our property in a chemical-free manor. We have an active biodiversity plan in place and have revegetated the land with native Tasmanian Snow Gum, Blackwood and Pepperberry Trees, along with bee-attracting Manuka, Leatherwood and other native shrubs. The hawthorn brambles on the property are over 100 years old and offer natural thermal insulation in summer and light and heat filtering in winter, as well as being home to various bird species, possums, pademelons and bandicoots. Find the beautiful dry-stone staircase and enjoy the spectacular view of Quamby Bluff and the townscape on the Eastern side of the property.
