With uninterrupted stunning views of Quamby Bluff and the Great Western Tiers, lie back and gaze at the stars or watch the weather roll in over the mountains, as you relax and soak in your own private cedar outdoor hot-tub or snuggle in your loft-style bed.

The Scandinavian inspired A-frame 'Eco Cabin' is designed to deliver a luxury eco accommodation experience in the township of Deloraine in Northern Tasmania's Meander Valley. All aspects of the Eco Cabin have been designed in the most sustainable manner with maximised use of both environmentally friendly and upcycled materials, from the beautifully refurbished spiral staircase to its up-cycled Tasmanian Oak flooring. Situated on 1.5 acres, surrounded by heritage hawthorn brambles & dry stone walls and with uninterrupted views of Quamby Bluff and the Great Western Tiers, it offers a unique and purely Tasmanian luxury experience. The Eco Cabin's smart design allows you to enjoy keyless, electronic smart lock entry, fast unlimited WIFI, a smart TV with streaming services and programmable electric blankets.
Relax
As far as outdoor spa baths go, this one is pretty special. Lie back and soak in your outdoor mineral cedar hot-tub and watch the sun set and its light show over the mountains ahead, or gaze at the stars and the endless stretch of the Milky-way above you.
Dream
Once you are finished soaking away your worries, get comfy with a glass of wine or cup of tea in front of the (eco-friendly) fire or settle in with a good book from the Cabin's 'hidden library / study nook'. When the day is done, retire upstairs and fall into your luxury Queen-sized loft-bed and watch the moonlight settle over the sleepy town and allow the call of the silence lull you to sleep. Awaken slowly to the sounds of the native birdlife nesting and gathering hawthorn berries in the tree-tops surrounding you.

Enjoy a gourmet feast of local produce collected from your travels exploring the local Meander Valley region. The fully self-contained kitchenette is equipped with everything you need to create a mouth-watering array of Tasmanian cuisine. Not in the mood for cooking? No problem! If you would rather us take care of crafting a selection of gourmet local delights, matched with the finest quality Tasmanian wines, we can have a 'Tasmanian Tasting Tray' of hand-picked local produce, Tasmanian sparkling & still wines and locally distilled gins awaiting you upon arrival.
Explore
Deloraine - is acclaimed to be one of the most beautiful towns in Tasmania. Jump on your complimentary bicycle or wander along the banks of the river on the 'River Loop' walk, explore the 'Wild Woods' and spot the local platypus. Incredibly private, but located in the centre of the township, the Eco Cabin is walking distance to everything this picturesque, eclectic little town has to offer.
The Western Tiers & Meander Valley - Fly fishing, wildlife tours (meet a Tasmanian Devil and pat a wombat), cave tours and amazing walks are all on your doorstep with the Great Lakes, Trowunna Wildlife Sanctuary, Mole Creek Caves and Great Western Tiers & Cradle Mountain Lake St Claire National Parks all within close proximity.
Experience the incredible food of the Cradle to Coast Tasting Trail. Whether you’re into sweet treats, fresh produce, fine wines or other delicious delights this culinary trail offers the finest Tasmanian award winning produce, cellar doors and farm stalls. Many of these stops lie within a 15 minute drive of The Eco Cabin, including the Christmas Hills Raspberry Farm, Ashgrove Farm Cheese, 41 Degrees South Salmon Farm, Melita Honey Farm, Meander Valley Vineyard, Van Diemens Land Icecreamery, The Truffle Farm & Western Tiers Distillery.
A little further afield - Deloraine's location in Northern Tasmania makes it the perfect gateway for exploring Cradle Mountain (90mins), Launceston & Cataract Gorge (30mins), the Tamar Valley Wine Region (45mins), the Great Western Tiers, the North and West Coasts of Tasmania and the Central Highlands (60mins).
